Interactive Textbooks divides subjects into modules. Each module introduces a theme with interactive exercises or a short animated scenario. Then, the module presents the topic in more detail, which students practice and apply to problems or other scenarios. There is a summary at the end of each module, followed by a mini-test. A scoring strip shows students their progress throughout each module. A module report at the end generates a record of student progress and highlights strengths and weaknesses. At any time during the module, students can return to a previous exercise and redo it until they reach mastery.
